Through the process of gap analysis, we conduct an assessment of the range of knowledge based manufacturing options open to our client. This may well also involve a competitor and market scan to determine appropriate product design and market orientation as well as ensuring a robust strategic approach to the transition journey. In essence, we seek to understand where the journey might take our client and the best pathway by which to navigate the journey.

This is the process of developing a strong and viable business model and defining a transition pathway for the business. We assist in identifying and reinforcing the core strengths of the business and building a portfolio of initiatives including R&D investments and critical infrastructure to support systematic innovation. It also includes an assessment of the partnerships and alliances that will be required in order to ensure success.

To this end, we leverage the expertise and network of our parent organization, the Victorian Centre for Advanced Materials Manufacturing (VCAMM), a leading organisation for facilitating technology transfer from research institutions to industry.
