VCAMM-funded researchers are leading the development of these exciting materials and their manufacturing, achieving broader and more rapid uptake in new applications.

Bio-materials, such as foamed, are at the forefront of materials technology. In medical applications, the porous structure of foamed titanium allows for growth of bone into the component, providing greater biological integration.
